We host weekly meetings discussing topics that the students are curious about. We rarely video our meetings because this tends to dampen people’s willingness to share their unfiltered opinions. I asked the group, and they agreed to video this meeting since it is more of an information sharing topic. This video is of our discussion of the dizzying landscape of Christian Denominations.
Why is this an apologetics issue? Well, if someone new to Christianity were to visit a liturgical high-church worship service one week and a more contemporary praise-band worship service the next week, they might conclude that these were two completely different religions. Let’s look at what unites and divides the various branches and twigs of the Christian Family Tree.
Lastly, please be charitable. I’m sure I will have misrepresented YOUR denomination in some serious way. I’m flying over the landscape at Space-Station altitudes. I’m sure to miss some important details. Feel free to correct the record in the comments section, but if you are a jerk, I’ll delete the comment.
